This picturesque lake is surrounded by 20 m high mangrove trees on one side and 20 m high palm trees on the other side. Locally known as “Vandumaafaru adi”, the bay is home to a large number of whale sharks, grey sharks, manta rays and sting rays, and is also a nursery for these species.
